About This Activity

We’ll start our evening with a visit to two charming local spots, where you’ll get a delightful introduction to Turkish cuisine by trying some  street foods *çiğ köfte* and *lokum*.

Then we will head to a stunning rooftop by private car (7-8 mins drive), where you can sip on Turkish tea or Turkish coffee while enjoying a breathtaking panoramic view of Istanbul.

After the rooftop, we’ll take our car to go to our favorite local family restaurant where we will try different Turkish kebabs, mezes and dessert! 

After the experience is over we will drop you off close to your hotel.

It was a great tour, with some walking involved and transportation provided to several other locations. A big bonus was being dropped off close to our hotel. Our guide Sule was very kind and knowledgeable. Thanks also to our driver. We ate very well and enjoyed coffee and tea on a hilltop with an amazing view. Sule really made this tour special.

Zey was an excellent host and guide. She took us around the city and shared insights into Turkish culture, also explaining the background of the different foods we tried. Everything was delicious. She brought together strangers from different countries and helped us connect across cultures. 10/10.

Our group usually books a food tour on the first night in a new city, and Sule was an excellent guide in Istanbul. The tour had a great mix of food and drinks, everything was delicious, and the transportation between stops was smooth and well organized. I would highly recommend this tour.

This was an excellent experience. Sule is a very friendly and welcoming guide, and I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to try authentic Turkish street food and sweets, enjoy dinner at a family-run local restaurant, and also experience a rooftop visit with a sunset over Istanbul.
