This short yet action-packed journey offers an immersive experience of Kenya’s spectacular landscapes and diverse wildlife. Perfect for nature enthusiasts and adventure seekers, this tour combines the excitement of game drives with the comfort of a relaxing overnight stay in the wild.

Day 1: Mombasa to Tsavo East National Park

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from your Mombasa hotel or Moi International Airport. As you leave the bustling coastal city behind, the journey transitions into a scenic drive through Kenya’s captivating countryside, culminating in your arrival at Tsavo East National Park. Known for its stunning red-dust landscapes and a remarkable abundance of wildlife, this park is home to large herds of elephants, often coated in the iconic red soil, as well as the legendary "man-eating lions" of Tsavo.

Upon entering the park, enjoy your first game drive en route to the Voi Safari Lodge, strategically located to offer breathtaking views of the surrounding savannah. Arrive in time for lunch and a chance to relax while soaking in the tranquil environment.

Later in the afternoon, head out for another exhilarating game drive. Explore the park’s expansive terrain, spotting giraffes, zebras, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. The park's waterholes also provide excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing, as animals gather to drink in the cooler hours. Return to your lodge in the evening for a sumptuous dinner and a restful overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 2: Tsavo East to Mombasa

Begin your second day with an early morning breakfast, a perfect start for another game drive in the cool, crisp morning air. Morning drives are prime opportunities to spot predators like lions and leopards as they finish their nocturnal hunts, as well as other wildlife active during these golden hours.

After an unforgettable morning, check out of your lodge and embark on the return journey to Mombasa. On the way, enjoy a lunch break, savoring the flavors of Kenyan cuisine while reflecting on the incredible experiences of the past two days.

Arrive back in Mombasa by late evening, with drop-offs at your hotel or Moi International Airport. Your two-day safari adventure concludes with memories of majestic landscapes, fascinating wildlife, and the unparalleled beauty of Tsavo East National Park.

An unforgettable experience: we saw lions resting and a herd of elephants moving in single file at sunset. Elephants drank from the waterhole beneath the lodge, and at dawn, zebras and antelopes came to quench their thirst. The only downside was that the main road was blocked, so the guide took the rough red dirt road instead, full of potholes and bumps, for about two hours.
