About This Activity

Step into a living fairytale on this immersive four-hour walking tour through the heart of Prague. Perfect for first-time visitors, this small-group experience (max ~15 guests) is led by an expert local guide who brings the city’s rich history and culture vividly to life.

Your journey begins at Křižovnické náměstí, beneath the statue of Emperor Charles IV, where your friendly guide—easily recognizable with an orange umbrella—will provide an overview and a map of your route. From here, cross the iconic Charles Bridge and enjoy breathtaking views of the Vltava River while hearing legends of saints, kings, and ancient battles.

Stroll through the winding streets of the Old and New Towns, taking in ornate Baroque facades, bustling squares, and hidden courtyards that reveal Prague’s architectural evolution. In the historic Jewish Quarter (Josefov), discover stories of resilience among centuries-old synagogues and the moving Old Jewish Cemetery.

Continue into Malá Strana (Lesser Town), with its cobbled lanes, baroque palaces, and charming cafés. Then, hop on a scenic tram ride (ticket included) for a panoramic ascent to Prague Castle. Explore the royal courtyards and marvel at the Gothic grandeur of St. Vitus Cathedral, home to stunning stained glass and the tombs of Bohemian monarchs.

As the tour concludes, return to Old Town Square to admire the Astronomical Clock and learn about the city’s medieval innovations and the Hussite movement. Time permitting, visit landmarks like Wenceslas Square or the vibrant John Lennon Wall, a symbol of modern Prague's artistic spirit.

This thoughtfully curated tour includes complimentary tram tickets and light refreshments. It’s more than sightseeing—it’s a captivating introduction to Prague’s layered identity through stories, architecture, and atmosphere.
