Haller Park contains many species of plants and animals that serve as a recreational area for tourists and locals. Until March 2007, it was home to the Owen and Mzee attraction - the friendship between a hippo and a turtle .

Fort Jesus Museum.

Fort Jesus is a Portuguese fortification in Mombasa. It was built in 1593 by the architect Giovanni Battista Cairati. It passed from the Portuguese to the Turks and back again until it was captured by the British in 1875, who used it as a prison.
