About This Activity

This tour invites you to experience the unique Žižkov TV Tower, a modern landmark that dominates Prague’s skyline. Known for its futuristic design and iconic David Černý sculptures, the tower offers an unparalleled perspective of the city. As you ascend to the observation deck, you’ll be treated to panoramic views of Prague’s iconic landmarks, including Prague Castle, Old Town, and the Vltava River.

The observation deck is the highlight of the tower. At 93 meters high, it provides a 360-degree view of the city. Whether it’s the charming red rooftops of Prague or the lush greenery of Letná Park, the vistas are truly unforgettable. The audio guide enriches your visit by offering fascinating details about the tower’s history, architecture, and the surrounding areas.

Another feature of the tower is its intriguing history. Built during the late 20th century, the Žižkov TV Tower was originally controversial but has since become an emblem of the city’s blend of modernity and tradition. The audio guide shares stories about its design, construction, and the unique sculptures of crawling babies by artist David Černý, which add an artistic touch to the structure.

The tour also introduces visitors to the lesser-known Žižkov district, a vibrant area filled with local culture, parks, and charming streets. It’s a great place to explore before or after your visit to the tower. Take your time to discover the nearby attractions and immerse yourself in this dynamic neighborhood.

On clear days, the observation point offers a pleasant view, but the visit itself is brief.Usually less than half an hour. While not centrally located, it does provide a vantage point from which to view Prague's major landmarks.

The booking process was filled with excessive notifications and confusing directions. It would have been much easier if all access could be managed through a single platform, either app or email. Unfortunately, neither worked well, making it a disappointing experience for the price paid.
