Day 1: Bahariya Oasis – Black Desert – White Desert Camp
After breakfast, we begin our desert adventure by departing from Bahariya Oasis toward the remarkable Black Desert, famous for its volcanic hills covered with black basalt stones that create a dramatic landscape. We then continue to a traditional Bedouin village in the El Heiz area, where we will have a short break and enjoy the natural hot spring, known for its relaxing and therapeutic qualities.
Our journey proceeds to Crystal Mountain, a unique geological formation shimmering with quartz crystals. Here, we will stop for lunch while enjoying panoramic desert views. Afterward, we drive to the impressive El Agabat Valley, an open desert area surrounded by towering limestone cliffs and soft white sand. Along the way, we will visit Flower Stone, a fascinating rock formation displaying natural mineral patterns resembling flowers.
As the day continues, we explore the sand dunes and move deeper into the New White Desert, renowned for its surreal chalk formations sculpted by centuries of wind erosion. In the evening, we set up a desert camp, where you can watch the sunset, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, and spend a peaceful night under a sky filled with stars.
Day 2: White Desert – Bahariya Oasis
After breakfast at the campsite, we explore more of the White Desert, starting with the Old White Desert area. We then visit Wadi El Kheiam, a scenic valley known for its natural beauty and historical significance. Next, we stop at the ancient Acacia Tree, standing alone as a symbol of resilience in the desert.
Before returning to Bahariya Oasis, we visit several extraordinary rock formations shaped by wind erosion over thousands of years, famously resembling a mushroom, horse, chicken, and ice cream. After completing the tour, we drive back to Bahariya Oasis, marking the end of an unforgettable desert experience.
