About This Activity

Embark on an enriching journey through Nairobi’s most iconic attractions, beginning with an early morning game drive at the renowned Nairobi National Park. Just a short drive from the city center, this unique park offers an extraordinary blend of urban proximity and untamed wilderness. Here, you’ll encounter an array of wildlife, with more than 100 species calling the park home. From majestic lions and elusive leopards to graceful giraffes and powerful buffaloes, the diversity of wildlife will leave you in awe. Keep an eye out for hippos, rhinos, zebras, gazelles, wildebeests, and hyenas as they roam freely in this natural sanctuary.

Following your wildlife adventure, head to the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, a haven for baby elephants orphaned in the wild, often due to poaching. Since its inception, the orphanage has successfully rehabilitated and reintroduced over 150 elephants back into the wild, primarily in Tsavo National Park. Witness these playful young elephants during their feeding time and gain insight into the tireless conservation efforts undertaken to protect them. This inspiring experience highlights the importance of safeguarding Kenya’s wildlife heritage.

Your next stop is the Giraffe Center, a conservation hub dedicated to the endangered Rothschild giraffe. Originally established as a breeding center, the facility now serves as an educational platform for local schoolchildren and visitors alike. Enjoy the rare opportunity to meet these elegant creatures face-to-face, learning about their behavior, habitat, and conservation challenges. The experience is both engaging and informative, perfect for nature enthusiasts and families.

Conclude your day at Bomas of Kenya, a cultural village showcasing Kenya’s rich ethnic diversity. Each homestead, or "boma," represents one of the country’s major ethnic groups, offering a glimpse into traditional lifestyles and architecture. Take a seat and immerse yourself in a vibrant display of traditional songs and dances performed by skilled artists. This captivating performance celebrates the unique heritage of Kenya’s many communities, leaving you with a deeper appreciation for the country’s cultural tapestry.

This expertly curated tour blends wildlife, conservation, and culture, offering a well-rounded experience of Nairobi’s natural and human heritage. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, this journey promises to be both memorable and enlightening, showcasing the best of what Kenya’s capital has to offer.

All four activities were unique and very well organized! We were incredibly lucky to witness a lion hunt and feed on its prey. We saw baby elephants and got up close to giraffes—even feeding them. We’re truly grateful for every moment. It was an unforgettable experience!
