We will begin your adventure by meeting you at the reception of your hotel or at the exit gate of the harbor in Mindelo. From there, we will head for a guided visit to the heart of the city. Depending on the day of the week, you will have the chance to explore the main attractions of Mindelo, such as the Cultural Center of Mindelo, where you can discover the island's artistic heritage, or the bustling fruit and vegetable market, where locals sell fresh, vibrant produce. You will also visit the central square, a perfect spot to soak in the local atmosphere.
After exploring the city, we will take a scenic drive to the highest point on the island, Monte Verde, where you will be rewarded with a panoramic view that is truly unforgettable. From the top, you can see the entire island and a deserted island filled with volcanic landscapes. The view offers a unique perspective of the island’s natural beauty, making it one of the most memorable stops of the day.
Next, we will drive to the Salamanca Fishing Village, located on the northern side of the island. Here, you will have the opportunity to walk barefoot along the peaceful white sand beach, where you can relax and take in the stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean. Following this, we will continue our journey to the charming village of Baía das Gatas. This picturesque location is famous for being the site of the largest music festival in Cape Verde, which attracts visitors from all over the world. Baía das Gatas is just a few kilometers from the city center of Mindelo and offers visitors a calm atmosphere, with a shallow beach and ideal swimming temperatures.
