Explore three beautifully decorated tombs with intricate hieroglyphics and learn about the ancient burial rituals of the pharaohs.

Next, visit the Temple of Hatshepsut, an architectural masterpiece built into the cliffs of Deir el-Bahari. Admire the grand colonnades and detailed carvings that honor one of Egypt’s most powerful female rulers.

Before leaving the West Bank, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive statues of Pharaoh Amenhotep III that have stood for over 3,400 years. Hear fascinating stories about these legendary guardians of the Theban Necropolis.

Some members of our group only paid half. I had requested a pick-up at the hotel reception, but after waiting for 30 minutes, I went outside and found him there. That part was disappointing. Other than that, the tour was enjoyable. The schedule was a bit tight, but our guide was excellent.
