We had the most wonderful time. It was an early start, but the ride was smooth, allowing us to rest a bit before a light breakfast. The pottery tour was a lot of fun, and we picked up some great souvenirs. Ephesus was truly beautiful, and our guide Nur was so knowledgeable and funny, adding a lovely touch to the experience. The lunch was of good quality as well. Nur was a great guide from start to finish, and the short visits to the Temple of Artemis and the Virgin Mary’s House were nice breaks in the afternoon after a long day. Thank you for a truly memorable trip.

I had a truly incredible experience on this day trip to Ephesus from Marmaris, and I honestly can’t recommend it enough! The communication before the tour was smooth and easy via WhatsApp. I was promptly picked up from my hotel at 5:30 AM. The drive is quite long, but our driver was calm, professional, and completely focused, allowing us to rest and nap along the way. Huge credit to him for making it a comfortable ride! Ephesus itself was breathtaking — entrance is €40 but worth every penny. Strolling through the ancient ruins feels truly surreal, and what made it even more special was our guide, Nur. She was simply remarkable — passionate, knowledgeable, and a wonderful storyteller — really helping us appreciate the rich history of the city. She also made sure we had free time to take photos and explore at our own pace. We then went to a buffet restaurant with plenty of food options to suit all preferences — the meal was hearty and enjoyable, with drinks available separately. After that, we visited the Temple of Artemis and the House of the Virgin Mary — a profoundly peaceful place where we were encouraged to write down our wishes and leave them on a wall. If you wish, bring an empty bottle to collect water from the nearby spring, which is said to hold healing properties — a lovely tradition to be a part of, whether you believe in it or not. Lastly, we made a stop at a Turkish delight and sweet shop — again, there was no pressure to buy, but plenty of samples to try. Overall, this tour was a highlight of my trip. Nur’s enthusiasm, expertise, and kindness truly brought history to life, and our driver made sure we felt comfortable and safe every step of the way.
