Istanbul Traditional Turkish Dinner and Dervish Experience

To be guided by Eylül has been a perfect balance between professionality, fun, hospitality and information. Eylül is an absolutely perfect guide. She fully informed us in advance, entertained us marvelously as a group and also offered many usefull tips afterwords. The tour includes local street food, the dervish dancers experience, a big feast and a ride to your nearest station/square guided from a kind and professional guide. Can you wish more? We will warmly reccomend to book a tour with her to live a very local, yet very satisfying experience.

We really enjoyed the Turkish dinner and the Dervish experience. Our guide, Eylül, was outstanding. She went beyond expectations, sharing the history and culture of the Dervishes and answering all our questions. She was very good at engaging the whole group and also offered additional tips and insights. The food was delicious, including some unique traditional dishes we had not tried in other restaurants. I would definitely recommend Eylül as a guide, and we really appreciated her English skills, which were genuinely the best among all our guides on this trip. She made the experience feel like a family dinner, and we now feel like we have a Turkish friend.

Zey and Lulu were excellent, friendly guides. They communicated clearly both before the evening and throughout the activity. They were very inclusive and had strong knowledge of Istanbul. They encouraged everyone to participate and showed genuine interest in all of us. Before the Whirling Dervish ceremony, they took us for street food and Turkish delight, and afterwards to a wonderful family-run restaurant for an outstanding meal, where they explained each dish in detail. It was a fantastic evening.

Shuley (ShuShu) and Zhaey are very knowledgeable and pleasant guides. They are well-organized, articulate, and very friendly. They managed to connect with all members of the group and bring everyone together to enjoy the memorable Whirling Dervish experience. Their enthusiasm is very engaging, and we had a great time trying Turkish delights and other delicious foods. The restaurant selected by our guides served excellent traditional dishes, some of which we had not tried before, even though it was our third visit to the city. I highly recommend Zhaey and Shuley.
