We booked a private tour with transfers to and from Hanoi, and we were extremely pleased with both the organization and the program. The advertisement was accurate. The 5-star Pao Hotel Sapa was very comfortable. Our guide, Ms. Chang, was outstanding. She took excellent care of us from the moment we arrived for the transfer (even with a slight delay) until our departure back to Hanoi the next day. It was clear how much she loves her homeland and enjoys working with tourists. Her explanations were thorough, and she answered all of our questions. On the second day, the nine-kilometer trekking tour revealed the stunning beauty of the area around Sapa. The pace was well-suited to our fitness levels and our wish to take photos. Lunch at a local restaurant on the second day was excellent. We are completely satisfied and want to thank Ms. Chang once again!

It was an incredible experience! Our group had only five people, which made it very enjoyable. Our local guide, Chan, was lovely and shared a lot about her culture. She even helped us extend our stay in Sa Pa by an extra night! She was extremely helpful and friendly. Transportation ran smoothly, with a couple of stops for coffee and restroom breaks. The bus had air-conditioning. Although the driver didn’t speak English, everything worked out perfectly. I would definitely recommend this trip!

The trip itself was a wonderful experience, and we would recommend it. This was largely thanks to the local private guide we booked, who took us on two memorable hikes and introduced us to the less touristy areas of Sapa. She shared openly about local life, giving us an authentic experience of Sapa during the tours. We stayed in a 4-star hotel and mostly enjoyed the great views from our large, though not spotless, room. The 2-day itinerary is quite tight, so there isn’t much time to explore the town independently. The transportation there was a major downside, as the bus driver’s driving felt very risky and unpleasant, with dangerous overtaking maneuvers. Breakfast was not provided during the stops, only a drink voucher.
