About This Activity

The tour begins with a morning pick-up from your accommodation, and the first stop is the ancient city of Angkor Thom. Entering through the grand stone-carved gate, adorned with majestic elephants and giant faces, you'll step into a rich historical landscape. Your guide will share captivating stories about the temples, offering insights into their cultural, historical, and spiritual significance to the local people.

Next, you’ll visit Bayon Temple, famously known as the ‘Giant Face Temple.’ Located in the heart of Angkor Thom, Bayon is renowned for its many serene faces carved into the stone, symbolizing compassion and wisdom. The temple’s unique architecture and intricate carvings make it one of the most fascinating and memorable temples in the Angkor complex.

From Bayon, you’ll continue your journey to Ta Prohm, one of the most iconic and atmospheric temples in Angkor. Unlike others, Ta Prohm has been left largely untouched, with jungle trees and vines growing over its crumbling stone walls. The natural overgrowth creates a mystical, photogenic scene, giving the temple a timeless, enchanted quality.

After visiting these incredible temples, you’ll enjoy a short break with refreshing Cambodian snacks and tropical fruits. This pause will give you a chance to relax and recharge before exploring even deeper into the Angkor Kingdom, where more hidden temples await, each with its own fascinating history.

The tour concludes with a visit to the breathtaking Angkor Wat. Your guide will offer fascinating insights into the history, architecture, and symbolism of this grand temple. After experiencing the awe-inspiring beauty of Angkor Wat, you’ll return to your accommodation by 4:00 pm, leaving with unforgettable memories of the majestic temples and spiritual heritage of Angkor.

Such a beautiful day. Walking through Bayon and seeing all the serene stone faces was unforgettable. Our guide added interesting details about symbolism and history, which made it even better. Angkor Wat at the end was the perfect way to close the tour—it really lived up to its reputation. Snacks in between were simple but refreshing. Highly recommend.

We did this tour with our two children, and it worked really well. The guide kept the stories engaging, even for the kids, and helped us understand the history behind Angkor Thom and Bayon. Ta Prohm was the favorite stop for all of us—the kids loved the giant trees growing over the walls. The short fruit break in the middle was a thoughtful touch. It’s a full day, but manageable with younger ones.

We did this tour as a family of four adults. The temples were spectacular, and we enjoyed the mix of famous and slightly quieter spots. For us, the pacing was a little on the quick side—we would have liked longer at Angkor Wat. That said, the guide was excellent and made the history easy to understand.

The tour covered everything we wanted to see, and the guide was very knowledgeable. Bayon and Ta Prohm were our highlights, but Angkor Wat was a bit crowded when we visited, which made it hard to take it all in. Still, it’s an impressive place, and the overall organization of the tour was smooth.
