Start Activities

Your adventure begins with a drive from Moshi or Arusha to Londorossi Gate for registration. Afterward, drive to the trailhead and begin trekking through the lush rainforest to Mti Mkubwa Camp.

Leave the rainforest and enter the moorland zone with stunning views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Trek across ridges and valleys until you reach Shira Camp 1, located on the famous Shira Plateau.

A gradual hike across the Shira Plateau offers incredible views of the mountain and surrounding landscapes. Arrive at Shira Camp 2, where you can enjoy spectacular sunset views over the plateau.

Climb gradually toward the impressive Lava Tower for acclimatization before descending to Barranco Camp. This “climb high, sleep low” strategy helps your body adjust to high altitude.

Climb the famous Barranco Wall, a thrilling but manageable scramble with incredible views. Continue trekking through the alpine desert to Barafu Camp, the base camp for the summit attempt.

Begin the summit push around midnight toward Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. Celebrate your achievement at sunrise before descending to Mweka Camp for overnight rest.

Descend through the rainforest to Mweka Gate, where climbers receive their summit certificates. Transfer back to your hotel in Moshi or Arusha.
